ooo its a carnival!.

Recently in my fair city there was a carnival! In part to celebrate the Mexican ‘Day of the Dead’ festival, but largely to pay to tribute to the bustling, creative, main vein of Wellington, known as Cuba Street!

There were bands, stalls, bbq corn and great Havana coffees. But what really caught caught my eye were the flags! What better way to celebrate; they made such an amazing atmosphere, floating in the balmy night time breeze, one couldnt help being swept away with the festivities!

Since this time I have discovered quite a passion for these floating gems; and have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of beautiful examples around! I think I shall make some…
